Works with standard, custom and Web applications
X-BARZ can be used with any Microsoft applications that support ActiveX controls, including Access, Word, Excel and others. In addition, X-BARZ can be used in creating custom Windows applications with Visual Basic, C++ and other developer tools.

X-BARZ also makes it simple to add barcodes to Web documents. The X-BARZ control can easily be used with CGI, ASP and other Web scripting languages.

Creates 1D and 2D barcodes
X-BARZ lets you produce a wide variety of barcode symbologies, among which are Code 3 of 9, Extended 3 of 9, Codabar, Code 128, UCC-EAN 128, USS-128, Interleaved 2 of 5, EAN-8, EAN-13, Plessey, Postnet, UPC 2, UPC 5, UPC-A, UPC-E and UPC Version D, and optional PDF417(2D).

Supports data binding
It's easy to produce reports and labels with barcodes using databases that support ActiveX controls. With X-BARZ, you bind fields in a database to the control and automatically generate barcodes for each record.

X-BARZ produces quality output at any size, even with high-resolution printers, without requiring extra fonts. X-BARZ works by creating Windows metafile ("vector") graphics (WMF). These are scalable and device-independent, and are compatible with all Microsoft applications.
