application that supports ActiveX technology including VB,
C++, Internet Explorer Web pages, MS Word, Excel, Access,

The TAL Bar Code ActiveX Control has all the features necessary
to easily add professional quality barcodes to any Windows
application including Web pages, database reporting and
labeling, product packaging, document tracking, postal bar
coding and special purpose barcode labeling applications.
It is an extremely easy and powerful tool that will work
flawlessly with any Windows application that supports ActiveX
technology including Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro*, C++,
Internet Explorer Web pages, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access,
etc.
Simply insert the Bar Code ActiveX Control into your application
and specify a few properties in the properties window shown
below and your desired bar codes will be generated automatically.
The TAL Bar Code ActiveX Control also supports data binding
so you can bind fields in a database to the Control and
generate barcodes for each data record automatically. The
data binding capability makes it trivially easy to produce
reports and labels containing bar codes using any database
that supports ActiveX technology including Microsoft Access
or Visual Basic.
The control is also fully scriptable in Internet Explorer
using VB Script or JavaScript making it extremely easy to
create web pages containing high quality, high resolution
bar codes.
The Bar Code ActiveX PLUS version now supports the ability
to generate bar codes as GIF, PNG and JPEG files allowing
you to easily create server side bar codes on a Windows
based web server. Use CGI/Perl or Active Server Page (ASP)
code to produce high quality server side bar codes that
will display and print perfectly from any web browser running
under any platform including Windows, UNIX/Linux, Mac, etc.
Sample CGI/Perl and ASP code is included with the PLUS version
to demonstrate how to implement server side bar codes on
your own web sites.

The TAL Bar Code ActiveX Control supports all commonly used
bar code symbologies and it allows complete control over
all features of each individual bar code symbology including:
Precise control over all bar code dimensions, full selection
for the foreground, background and text colors, symbol rotation
in 90 degree increments complete font selection for the
human readable text above or below a bar code symbol. Support
for all major linear bar code symbologies such as Code 39,
UPC, EAN, Code 128, PostNET, CodaBar, BookLan, HIBC and
Interleaved 2 of 5. Support for the newest two-dimensional
bar codes including PDF417, Aztec Code, Data Matrix, MaxiCode,
and RSS-14 with the Plus Version.
The control is also a data bound control which allows you
to easily incorporate it into database reporting and labeling
applications.
