Print
your own bar code 93 from within any Windows program! This
scalable TrueType font set lets virtually any existing Windows
program print bar codes. It does require a checksum, and lets
you encode numbers (0-9), upper case letters (A-Z), and some
special characters (space, $%+-./). A full ASCII mode is also
available that covers the entire ASCII character set. Simply
begin each bar code with a special start code, and end each
bar code with the required checksums and the stop character.
Bar code 93 was introduced in 1982, as a high density alternative
for bar code 3 of 9. It offers virtually the same character
set as bar code 3 of 9, but requires a checksum. Code 93
also offers a Full ASCII mode that is not dependent on your
bar code reader, another enhancement over bar code 3 of
9.
This bar code package includes both a standard (bar codes
only) and a human readable (bar codes with text or numbers
below) versions of bar code 93. Each of these scalable bar
code fonts comes in six different aspect ratios, so you
can vary the height and width of the bars independent of
each other. This lets you print bar codes with the same
height, but with different bar thicknesses.
Want to print bar codes in Access, Excel, or Word? We include
